The 55 plants featured in “Ars et Flora” have been chosen to represent the threatened floraof Catalonia. They were selected to provide a diverse range of plants from a variety of habitats and a range of botanical characteristics, making them all unique in their own way.
The “Catàleg de flora amenaçada de Catalunya” (“Catalog of endangered flora of Catalonia” available to download here in Catalan), includes 326 plants of which 109 are classified as threatened with extinction.
